We are Albertans just like you - and we've had enough of the UCP.

We are a non-partisan grassroots movement listening to Albertans of all political stripes who are worried about the damage the UCP is doing to Alberta. We want to do something about it.

AB Resistance seeks to empower Albertans to hold their elected representatives accountable. Our objective is to support Albertans and their constituencies in a thoughtful and intentional manner.

The UCP is failing us in every way. This is not the Conservative government we grew up with. This is an out of control, renegade, authoritarian government that is eroding our rights and the foundations of democracy before our very eyes. The UCP have earplugs in and are ramming through policies we never asked for in an unprecedented manner.

The UCP is systematically dismantling the very public institutions we rely on - public health care, public education, post-secondary education, and more. They are threatening our financial stability by trying to get their hands on our Canadian Pension Plan. They are seeking to create a separate policing agency. All of these issues are well outside the bounds of the mandate which was given to Danielle Smith and the UCP.

We deserve transparent, ethical government that places the voices and needs of Albertans first, now and for generations to come.

Ask yourself this: “Would I tolerate these actions from any other political party, or any other premier?”
