We have surpassed 1600 memberships!

However, we must stress to each one of you the importance of recruiting new members. As I initially stated, recruiting new members is a way in which every single one of our members can make a contribution to our success. We are working hard behind the scenes to grow and organize our group and we are fortunate to have members who are willing to lend their time and expertise in order to move our group forward. In the area of recruitment, we need your help! Please post our registration webpage address and ask people to join us on all of your social media daily. Talk to friends, family, co-workers, etc. We must expand our reach, and this is an area in which your contribution will make a real difference. We must make a monumental push for new members prior to our public launch. If I can help by forwarding our poster to you, I’d be happy to do so!

We just held our first advisory board meeting this past week with a small group of volunteers who are donating their time and expertise to our cause. We have a list of others who have offered their experience and skill sets, and will be filling out our Advisory Board in a scheduled meeting this week. It’s exciting to be moving forward with this aspect of our project!

What we are facing will effect every single Albertan.

• The drought we’re facing has been predicted for years and the government has been warned.
• Ground water levels have reached record low levels.
• Environmentalists and water experts have urged this government to call an Emergency
• The panel Smith has assembled to deal with the forthcoming drought does not have a single
  water expert, nor an environmentalist assigned to it. Yet Ian Anderson, a promoter of TMX has
  a seat.
• Smith says “We are planning for drought (panel) but hoping for snow and rain.”
• Water experts say we must “hope” less, and plan more.
• Alberta UCP are incapable of managing a widespread water shortage because they see
  environmental problems as political and ideological as opposed to real issues with potentially
  catastrophic consequences.

  down hope for their practices and their futures in Alberta, as well as the future of Albertan’s
  health.
• Lethbridge: - 40% reduction in surgeries due to staff shortages
• Emergency surgeries are taking up to 5x longer than medically recommended
• 1 out of 5 medical Drs in Alberta are unlikely to be financially stable beyond 6 months
• 61% of Alberta Drs are seriously considering leaving the AB HC system
• 42 operating rooms in the Stollery were closed in February due to staff shortages
• On a weekly basis there are only anywhere from 3 to 38 hospital beds are available in Alberta

UCP & Shoppers Drug Mart (Galen Weston)

• Big announcement: Shoppers Drug Mart will open 103 “pharmacist clinics”
• 54 are already opened
• No added services, and you are charged for testing
• Toronto Star: Why is Danielle Smith Shilling for Shoppers Drug Mart?
• Smith wants to “appear to be doing “something”
• As part of the Weston empire, SDM is linked to Life Mark Health 
• If a Dr is added to these clinics (further decimating family Dr practices) is Weston then running
  For Profit clinics, and being funded by Public HC taxpayer dollars?

Calgary lost more than 20,000 healthcare and Social Assistance workers in 2023.

AB office that investigates abuse in Care stopped publishing outcomes as cases piled up.

AISH: Please see letter leaked @the Breakdown on X

• The letter that was leaked reads: “Due to a temporary reallocation of resources, commencements for AISH will be completed only for those who are palliative, deemed emergencies, and those in hospital.”
• Staff will be allocated to “reviewing files”.
• Jason Nixon refused to comment.

• A 3rd grand opening of a Charter School in Calgary Currie was attended by the minister.
• Charter Schools are privately owned, appoint their own boards, and can reject applicants.
• UCP has already diverted $118M from Public Ed funding to Charter Schools
• Meanwhile, no Public Ed schools are budgeted for in Calgary where they had 8000 new students
  this year.

We must not let the Christo fascist ideologies of the TBA be the loudest voices in our schools, nor the ones who are making policy for our children. Please pay attention, parents, and get involved!

• The Alberta government has 2 well site Pilot Projects which have been approved and are active, both
  which are illegal and contrary to our laws.
• Well Site Reduction Pilot – O%G companies will receive a full reclamation certificate when only
  60% of a dirty site is cleaned up. This is the program that Rebecca Schulz, Environment Minister’s
  husband lobbied the UCP government for.
• Liability Management Incentive Program- Yes, Alberta, it’s the R-Star program, under a new
  name. The UCP have started it off by giving O&G $100M of OUR royalties to clean up their dirty
  well sites, which they are already legally bound to do. Yet there are no funds for healthcare, doctors,
  nurses, or new schools.

FORESTRY
Order in council that came down on Friday evening pre-long weekend.

“Foreign ownership of Land Regulations: Certain lands are acquired by Millar Western Forest Products, US, EXCLUDED from the Foreign Ownership of Land Regulation. The UCP is quietly selling off our forestry to a UC company.

TRANSGENDER COMMUNITY
“First they came for the transgender community…

And we must all stand up NOW, Because we all know how this quotation ends.”

• Danielle Smith announced an acceptance by the govt of Policy 20, which was passed at the UCP
  AGM
• She, as per David Parker’s TBA, has gone further in abolishing the rights of transgender students
  and their parents than any other jurisdiction in Canada
• No longer can there be an iota of doubt that Smith will acquiesce to the Christo-fascist
  ideologies put forth by this radical group. If you paid attention to the 29/30 policies passed at
  the AGM, you will be well aware of the hell that is yet to come
• Her proclamation was rife with misinformation from beginning to end
• She claimed that she had done consultations. Please access the AB Govt Website. Then access
  Public Consultations. Of 160 consultations listed, not a single one related to her Transgender
  policy.. Not one.
